How it works
On your way in three steps
- 1 Build your route Pick a country, then your stops. Drag them into the right order, give each place the days you want there and watch the trip take shape.
- 2 Enter what you have to spend The planner takes off your flight, insurance and visa, sets your big costs aside and shows what is left each day for food, beds and getting around.
- 3 Track it while you travel On the road you log what you spend in dong, kip, baht, riel or peso. You see right away whether you are on track, and if not, how much to cut per day.
You do not have to finish anything. Add one destination, close the page, and next week your trip is still exactly where you left it.

How the planner does its sums
The numbers are ours
The daily cost per destination comes straight from our own destination pages. Add a place we do not cover and we use the average for that country.
Your bed is part of your daily cost
A bed is an everyday cost, so it does not go to one side. Pick a hostel and we put that destination's from price next to it, so you see what is left each day for everything else.
On the road you count in local money
Every stop counts in that country's currency. The rate is right there, and you enter your own when it is off, because you will not always have signal.
